It is amazing how it has growwn in popularity in the past 10 years!
It has nothing to do with Mr. Levin's ratings -- it is about ratings-starved sister station KGO ultra liberal disasters.
This morning on KSFO's morning show with Brian Sussman (fills in for Savage and used to fill in for Levin) disclosed that there was a massive (my word) reduction in staff at sister station KGO, the aforementioned Ron Owens' long-time (40 years) home and who is taking Levin's 1500-1800 time on KSFO.
As of this morning Sussman did not know what KGO has in mind that they had to find a place for their only star.
Apparently Levin will be delayed to the 1800 - 2100 slot followed by Hannity replacing Beck 2100 - 2400.
I hear that country music is now popular in San Francisco.. maybe KGO is going all country. :)
Maybe KGO will give star liberal and San Francisco liberal Democrat icon Bernie Ward his old time slots (weekdays and weekends) now that he's out of prison.
I know that 99% of anyone reading this could not care less but the good news is KGO was THE STATION and a liberal mecca of what's in (anything Left) and the authority on what's not ("tea baggers").
