MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Ted Cruz says there is a risk that Donald Trump supporters would bolt from the Republican Party if he loses the nomination at the GOP convention this summer.

That’s why Cruz said in an interview on WTMJ radio in Milwaukee on Thursday that the best course is for the Texas senator to win a majority of the delegates before then.

Trump or Hillary will be the next Prez.

The FBI is going to recommend criminaal charges against Hillary, which will finish her. Trumps odds at the nomination: 50/50.

Sad that Cruz, the smartest person ever to graduate Harvard, doesn’t see that HE is the useful idiot to the eGOP. They use Cruz to take out Trump and then replace both of them with their candidate. The eGOP hates Cruz, so there is no way they will nominate him.

“If Cruz won the nomination he won’t win one swing State.
It will a blowout like Johnson against Goldwater.”

Without question in Colorado Cruz would luz. I find zero support for him here. I am sure there is some but not enough to win the election.

But they both lose if the party cannot come together to support the candidate. And if someone else gets it, chosen by the insiders, millions will stay home or vote 3rd party.

Cruz supporters, like Trump supporters, are very strong in their support. I can’t see most of them laying down this year. People are angry.

The Republicans would need to have a complete brain transplant if they

IF they spend millions to so obviously keep the peoples’ votes from counting.

“I’ve seen little in the way of hard evidence to prove it.”

Then your blind as a bat or just refuse to believe or even
look. I’m not going to educate you on it. If you were a true
conservative and abreast with the issues you would already know.

“What I have seen, bla, bla, bla.500% increase in H1-B visas.”

Worthless drivel mainstream media liberal talking points all
taken out of context.

In the long run it’s going to be people like you that lead to
Trump losing and Hillary winning.

Yea that’s right, I want Trump to win as well as Cruz. You
would much rather have Hillary than Cruz. That sucks because
you would rather embrace socialism than be a true American
patriot.

I can guess where Felito got this notion. Who met with Rinse yesterday? Who told Cruz?

Why is Felito trying to replay the tactic used to harm Ben Carson?

It’s not complicated. If no one gets to 1237 then the delegates have a choice. They can shaft the majority of primary voters or they can shaft the minority of primary voters.

Currently Cruz supporters are working towards the option of shafting the majority of the primary voters. That is a guaranteed fail.

Here’s my official endorsement re: Trump v Cruz, et al:

Free Republic will be happy with either of our leading anti-establishment candidates and is committed to supporting whichever of these two fine pro-America candidates wins the nomination.

In fact, FR is committed to supporting whichever leading pro-America candidate results from this primary over the godless America-hating socialist democrats.

The survival of our nation is paramount to all other concerns at this time.

We are on a mission from God:

To secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.

If no one reaches 1237, then no one will have the majority of the primary voters.

You are mistaking "majority" for "plurality."

“Currently Cruz supporters are working towards the option of shafting the majority of the primary voters. That is a guaranteed fail.”

Maybe. Trump is the front runner and Cruz is second. What
I’ve seen so far is more Cruz bashing and really not
much
in the way of Trump bashing. That’s solidifying Cruz support
and other than the people who were looking for a reason to dump Cruz
not much going to Trump. Cruz is a conservative with a track
record to prove it. Trump and his supporters attitude toward
Cruz supporters isn’t making him look any better. I like
Trump and I like Cruz but what I don’t like is all the
attacks on either of their supporters. It’s all BS.

I’m sure Hillary will welcome your support.

Same old tired uni-party BS. It's like slaves returning to their masters to be put back in chains because the big world is too scary. The only way to change course is to get off the uni-party plantation.

Trump supporters who have any self-respect won't ever vote GOP again.

“Trump supporters who have any self-respect won’t ever vote GOP again.”

Independent? Trump could probably win as an independent.
I guess it would all depend on who the GOP pick was though.
I’ve been holding my nose and voting since Bush 1.
I think we need to get back to the issues. That is what
put Trump where he is and Cruz as well. I would much rather
see things hashed out over policy rather than out of
context hyped up media BS.

LOL

Where have you been the last 25 years, there is absolutely no chance Hillary will get charged. And a 100% chance Trump will be the nominee.

Trump has succeeded in forming a 3rd Party within the walls of the Republican Party.

Trump must have thought long and hard before he decided to self fund.
And it is because he is self-funding that he can end the status quo because he need not come to the GOPe for support.
==

IF by third party u mean conservatives who are sick and tired of being the GoPe’s useful idiots, yeah, but what really has happened is the party has left their base, Cruz last GoPe standing and his voters reluctantly beginning to see he’s also part of the club.
