Next week Hewitt will start doing morning drive in Washington DC (at least we finally kick his sorry ass out of California)

He not only quotes the party line, I think he helps right it.

Today he is predicting that Cruz will be the nominee, which is something new. And he is strongly arguing for Kasich. Hewitt has been hoping for an open convention since January when it became obvious that none of the GOPe hacks could lock up 1237.

Another interesting Hewitt bit today is that in...Pennsylvania (I think)... there is a push by Cruz and the GOPe to select the delegates who will be “for” Trump... and on the first ballot they would disappear so that their first ballot votes would be missing, thereby denying Trump his 1237. This is the sort of criminal weasel behavior that the Trump people need to be aware of, because Hewitt isn’t blowing smoke when he says this stuff. He is connected to the people who run the Convention and he knows what the rules allow.
