Re: “Trumpbots”

I’m not really into television, politics or the mass hysteria of election cycles. I support Cruz in theory but I support Trump in practice. A few reasons:

-The economy is a mess. Trump is an experienced businessman, not (another) lawyer. Lawyer-politicians got the US into its current mess. I prefer someone who is outcome-oriented and knows how to balance the books.

-I’ve read independent reviews of Trump’s tax plan. It favors employment, investment and wealth creation. It also hints of massive spending cuts because it is required to support the tax plan.

-Someone with 45 years in business should be good for his word. Lawyer-politicians are generally not.

-Who could trust (another) lawyer candidate over a successful businessman?

The US has severe economic problems due to leaders who and implement highly impractical social theories and cronyism rather than sound economic policy. They’re crooks. They’re taking 400 billion out of the economy and putting 300,000 out of work but they’re “saving the climate”. Are you fricking kidding me? When we bombed Germany the #1 target was energy production. The second priority was factories. The results of WWII bombing campaigns are the same as current politicians: cutting energy production and putting people out of work.

When I was in the Army every new program had to submit a cost benefit analysis report every quarter. I’d like to see the same thing in the Fed. A lawyer probably won’t do that. A businessman probably would. Cutting waste is how they stay in business.
