REMEMBER:
Every agency in this government has been politicized.
Every agency in this government has been politicized.
This can't be emphasized enough
Still, my heart is palpitating in hopes that we see justice at long last.
No indictment, ever, by Lynch. If the article is accurate, it seem to me that the “officials” cited are signaling this by saying the interview with her is “crucial”. Bull.
Her lawyers, who will be present in droves, will not allow her to answer any question that might hurt or give rise to a charge of lying to the FBI. If the FBI has the goods already, nothing she says can change that. If they don’t, do they think she’ll break down and admit guilt? Truth is, they have the goods, but are already setting the groundwork for a “no indictment” decision. It’s probably written already:
“Our decision not to indict Mrs. Clinton was in part influenced by her many years of exemplary service, and her explanation that she believed the practice was widespread and lawful, and that her server had adequate security safeguards built in. While we believe her actions may have been ill-conceived, we do not believe that an indictment would serve the public interest at this time, and have concluded that her actions do not meet our filing standards for a criminal prosecution. Rest assured that measures will be put in place immediately to ensure that all officials are made aware of their duty in handling classified materials, and Mrs. Clinton has pledged to us that should she be elected, that her server will be maintained by the government....blah blah.”
Nobody here was born yesterday, and no one should even entertain the possibility that Loretta Lynch will go by the book and do the right thing. The best one can hope for is that the FBI head resigns in protest, along with high-profile members of the U.S. Justice Department and lay out the evidence to the public.
