...”Trump has DOMINATED politics for six months in an inconceivably powerful manner”...

Well better said he’s fed the media the stories that sell ratings and ads to population that loves reality TV...it was a good match for media and Trump from the get go....they all made good money or saved it....and the population got a “Dallas” with the star performer JR.

As to the substance of what he says that’s very much questionable as he’s again flip flopping his positions. His own word salads get in his way.....he can’t remember where he stands or has stood... so he offers whatever might seem right at the moment.

So...your post does reflect you like his fighting....and so have many others who enjoy such things.....but some things are fought hard and steady long before the “hero” comes along and builds on top of them and makes them his own. The foundations of which are not Trumps....he hasn’t been a conservative long enough to claim them as his own....but it’s working to convince those he wants in his court.

FYI — I heard a story on radio: The person was reporting what he heard, and that was that someone had called in to a radio program, and said that they were walking thru deep woods and came across a spur railroad track, with some shackle box cars.

They went inside and looked around, seeing the shackles etc.

hmmmmmmmm not so good

“came across a spur railroad track, with some shackle box cars.”

You have to admit, though, that the radio story was unsubstantiated.

JR would be a better president than Cruz. He at least understood war was war and no time to join the Enemy.

Some of us conservatives understand that the whole country does not agree with us and are willing to choose a man based primarily on his enemies because they are OUR enemies.

Americans are not ideologues ready to go off in a snit because someone is not pure enough. That 2% respects almost NO one and believes them all to be RINOS/turncoats, even newly elected ones. These voters are so unreliable that they helped re-elect Hussein rather than spoil their nice white gloves.

This is a hard-core no holds barred cage match and there is only one man capable of winning it.

unsubstantiated. yes. But just more of more of. Already talked about and noted.

[hmmm when I run out of things to do, will do a search on SHACKLE BOX CARS]

Good point. I will vote for those running for the senate and congress....but probably not for the Pres. based on the unabashed attempts of the elites in trying to control the nominee....at some point I expect one of the local military units ...perhaps even a few x-seals to attempt a coup....it can happen.

The logic that got us to vote for Romney was the logic of NOT giving up, even when things look bleak. I hated voting for Romney, but I knew it was far better than just not voting and allowing the O’ster to win uncontested. Talk about voting your conscience; was it not unconscionable for those who stayed home in 2012 to — effectively — throw the election to Obama?? Yeah, Romney was no conservative’s dream candidate, but — throwing the election to Obama??

My logic is the kind of logic that says, “NEVER AGAIN!”

My logic is the logic that recognizes that — flaws warts and all — EVERY LAST ONE of OUR candidates is better for this country than ANY of theirs.

So get your conscience untangled from the candidate of your preference, and get it zeroed in on the country and the Constitution you vow to defend. Recognize that — come November — your duty to your country amounts to keeping certain vile persons out of office every bit as much as putting a certain person into office; votes are ALWAYS a double-edged sword: affirmation for one candidate and denial of the other.

So when you’ve got a weak and flawed candidate, and your vote’s affirmation isn’t strong, your vote’s denial of the other candidate must become the impetus you take to the polls.

That attitude sucks—total capitulation to and enabling of the GOPe. If that helps you sleep at night, go for it—however, some of us view voting as a privilege to be exercised more wisely.
