These guys aren’t being driven to ISIS because they feel isolated from Western culture or because they’re facing discrimination- they are attracted to ISIS because they feel ISIS is the strongman in a world of pathetic weaklings and they want to be on the winning team where they can crush the inferior, the weak.
This sort of thinking plays out here too- the GOP is being rejected because it is weak. So the first thing that comes along that talks tough will win over the most zealous recruits.
