There is plenty of Heroin sitting in evidence lockers all over this nation. Instead of destroying it, use it for lethal injection. The environMENTALists ought to applaud the effort!

I think they should do a “go fund me” page to pay for the electricity, or bullets, or rope, or rat poison they will need. They would be astonished how much money would be contributed.

Scott: Why don’t you shoot him now? I mean, come on, I’ll go get a gun. We’ll shoot ‘im together. It’ll be fun. BANG! Dead. Done.
Dr. Evil: One more peep out of you and you are grounded, mister! And I am not joking!

Watch for pressure to be applied to electric companies to not provide the needed amperage.

I've always opposed the electric chair due to its fantastic inefficiency. That's an awful lot of power used to kill a single human being. Most of the horrific stories, some related in the article, do not involve suffering, but messiness. It isn't exactly drawing and quartering. Nevertheless, as a waste of resources it's hard to top, although life imprisonment for someone meriting the death penalty is a still greater waste of resources.
The Chinese (among others) prefer a single bullet to the back of the head. Nitrogen asphyxiation is less traumatic but so far more or less untried. Those would be my choices if the state is to be accorded the duty to take a life at all.

Does the electricity have to be from 'renewable' sources?
If so, this could take a while...

“A rope is recyclable..”
An electric chair powered by renewable energy should suffice.
Just make sure the sponges are damp.

However, we are approaching the Buddhist phase of our history;i.e. that spiritual phase where even an insect cannot be killed. Mebbe if we let the bugs eat them...

The guillotine is the most humane. It severs the spinal cord and all nerve/pain centers going to the brain almost instantly. That would be my choice.

Are we supposed to use a MAN sized Microwave Oven to Nuke criminals instead of some other Humane way of execution?Okay, someone had to ask. What would Hitler have done with microwave ovens?

Instead of destroying it, ...Assuming it actually gets destroyed, that is. Something was destroyed, anyway.

One of the strange things I learned about when I went on FReeps was Mumia. I saw “Fry Mumia “ T shirts but had no clue what they meant. I did not know the saga of Mumia and the controversy surrounding him
I don’t think he ever got fried.

The state of Utah had the firing squad as their death penalty for many years...I don’t believe they use this form of execution now??
To: DGA
The only flaw in the design of the electric chair was that it should have been made to opperate on a car battery and you leave the murdering thugs hooked up however long it takes. Then you would see a huge drop in violent crimes.
