I propose a new FCC policy for the incoming Trump Administration, which is:
Broadcasting on the public airwaves is a PRIVILEGE not a ‘right’ and ANY network entity which seeks to undermine and subvert the basic freedoms guaranteed under our Constitution will have their broadcast licenses revoked permanently.

Broadcasting on the public airwaves is a PRIVILEGE not a right TV and radio broadcasters already must be licensed to send material over the public airwaves. They must renew their license on a regular basis. That's why you see public service announcements; to prove to the FCC that they are serving a public interest and should be re-licensed.
At least that's the way it was back when I grew up.
