That’s the ticket, announce it to the world, so any of the killers buddies who were in touch via his iPhone can do more to cover their tracks. This isn’t about cracking an iPhone, and it never has been. It’s been about the FBI’s craven desire to have a back door into Apple’s products. Glad we’re good customers since the days of the Macintosh Plus.
That would be stupid of them. Maybe they didn’t find anything useful on the phone. Or maybe they have already made arrests.

It seems to me that if Apple produces the firmware in the full knowledge of what it is supposed to do, wouldn't this be a "front door" rather than a "Back door"?
Isn't a "back door" supposed to be a secret hack that the manufacture doesn't know about?
