His warplanes, missiles and tanks, smart bombs and satellite technology have already changed the landscape in Syria Russia claims to have destroyed 3,000 'terror' targets during 14 days of airstrikes at the beginning of February But it has also been accused of killing 1,000 civilians in the bombardment

They have been dubbed 'Moscow's war games', a deadly flexing of Russia's military might in the battlegrounds of Syria that has seen Vladimir Putin's forces tip the balance of power towards the once beleaguered leadership of Bashar al-Assad.

Nothing like a good live fire exercise to try out and perfect new weapons and their delivery.

I am sure thugs and dictators worldwide are salivating at buying some of these weapons systems. Even if they have only 70% the functionality of the ones the Russians are using in Syria. You better believe the Russians have plenty of DVD's and videos available for interested third world buyers. This is like a Superbowl with only advertisements for Russian weaponry being used in Syria

29,000 ft per second = 19,772.7272 mph. I don’t think the SU-34 is quite that fast.

I remember when conservatives CARED about losing ground to the Russians militarily...now it’s just defunding Planned Parenthood, and they can’t even do that.

I sort of messed that up. It was the SU-24 that was said to climb at 29K per sec. That makes it even more ludicrous.
