147 FBI agents involved in Clinton email probe

A new report says 147 FBI agents are involved in the investigation surrounding Hillary Clinton's private email server and handling of classified material.

The Washington Post reports that the large number of agents have been deployed to run down leads in the investigation, citing a lawmaker briefed by FBI Director James Comey.

The Post reported that the FBI has accelerated its investigation because officials want to avoid potentially announcing any action close to the November election.

Comey has signaled that he is personally close to the probe into Clinton's personal email account used during her time as secretary of State.

I remember a news report for Watergate in which the investigators gave statistics to prove how well they investigated it- number of officers, number of leads, number of man hours, number of documents reviewed, number of days the investigation took place,

...and they did not find the answer until they were pushed.

Don’t tell me how much money you spent...tell me of your results.

“So file the charges and frog march her already.”

What I want to know is can the FBI arrest her, and take her in w/o the Justice Dept’s. approval? I know local cops don’t have to ask the DA if they can arrest someone. It would be one step that could be taken to show the idiots in this country the seriousness of what she’s done.

Its normal for 147 FBI agents to “Review” a security issue.

Good point. HIllary has said this whole thing is a “security review”. She denies there is any criminal oriented investigation underway, it’s all just reviewing security.

She may well be surprised at the outcome. Where’s her attorney??

“I’d like them to hand Clinton the bill for the investigation, must be tens of millions by now. “

And I’d like the country to hand the Obola’s the bill for all their superfluous travel.
I just imagine that AF-1 will need to be down for a serious overhaul and inspection afrer “The Grifters” leave the White Hut.

I have visions of FBI agents scurrying around in a dense forest searching for...TREES! How many trees do they have to find before they declare it a FOREST?

I saw that droopy little concern troll Ron Fournier (of the National Journal, as they say) on Scarborough’s show this morning and he acknowledged that the investigation keeps growing and seems very serious.

But, he added, there is little likelihood that any prosecution will result, especially since the old Hag is headed for the Democrat nomination.

Why should that matter, Scarborough said. If you or I or some state department underling transmitted those top secret documents, our careers would be over and we would be headed to jail.

Yes, but we’re not Hillary Clinton, Fournier said, and we’re not running for president.

Why should that matter? Joe asked again.

It’s just a political fact. You don’t want to be hounding major candidates for the presidency with this kind of prosecution, this close to an election. It’s like a...a kind of rule, if you want to look at it that way.

Where did you find this rule, Scarborough pressed. Would that be in the Constitution? Equality under the law, and so on?

I know, I know, Fournier shook his wrinkled little gourd. “I’m just telling you that a prosecution is very, very unlikely.”

Hillary: “147 FBI agents looked into the matter and couldn’t find any wrongdoing.”

Here’s what is going to happen. In a month or two there will be no indictment, media says”see, nothing was illegal” Hillary’s poll numbers go up 5%.

That's exactly what I think the plan is. She'll be able to claim that despite the largest most thorough investigation in history, they could not find one single thing she did improperly. She'll score all sorts of points with the media and the left for being so perfect.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Why can’t the FBI simply arrest her, and let the federal prosecutor handle it? If you or I were under investigation for the same acts we would already be arrested.

She may really come to regret using the same server that the Clinton Foundation used for their correspondences.

I would think they would be open for discovery as well.

I’d like them to hand Clinton the bill for the investigation, must be tens of millions by now. I’d love to see her and Bill bankrupt. Hillary could be out on the street with a sign: Will Be President For Food.

For me it's different, if the government allocates 147 agents to this and they come up with nothing, they the "BOSS" of this department should be fired and have to pay.

Republican candidates should point out how Bernie is getting screwed by Hillary's support by super delegates. If it wasn't for that it would be very close in percentage of delegates won.

First of all this would help alienate the Sanders supporters from voting for Hillary in November. Secondly, if it helps get Bernie winning more delegates, the administration may determine Hillary's indictment along with a brokered Convention may be the best option. I don't think they want Sanders running in November.

Hillary won’t escape the other prong of the investigation. She’ll be gigged by the bribery, money laundering, and tax evasion evidence. Did you know the foundations were being investigated too?
