“Conservatives out in the political cold.”

That depends on how they respond to our next president. If they go off in a snit like 2012 then they will become more marginal. Ever wonder why it is near impossible to elect conservatives (those considered conservative by the ideologically pure) on a state-wide basis.

If they get on board the Trump Train and help go after our enemies they will increase their influence. Likely? not from what I’ve seen.

Very true, and FWIW, I just took a look at the FR profiles for all of those who voted for Cruz tonight ( thus far ) in the FR Caucus. And surprise, surprise, for those whose profile lists their state, they are predominantly from guess where, Texas!!!
