I don't think Cruz would have a case. NE is just passing along rumors. NE isn't passing along rumor and calling it fact. Some here are, however.

I don’t know if he can. The whole article is written with “alleged and supposedly”.
This was meant to be nothing more than a smear. They don’t claim to have proof. Nor do they have it.
The Enquirer was very careful to report this as rumor. Nowhere did they claim any of these allegations were true. Roger Stone, however, could find himself on the wrong end of a nasty libel suit. I don’t see Cruz doing that while the primary is ongoing because he is trying to have the campaign focus on issues. I wouldn’t want to be Roger Stone down the line though.
