Your tagline seems more prescient with each passing day.

I have had the distasteful experience of being personally acquainted with Roger Stone. He is the ultimate cynic, using any cause and any person to further his own wayward lifestyle. His tactics which seemed perversely cute when applied to Ed Muskie or George McGovern when Stone was a relative beardless youth are now employed by The Donald as great fun at the expense of the CONSERVATIVE movement and its naive tendency to care about such obsolete things as actual principles, morality, decency, manners, gentlemanly demeanor and actual issues. Now that Stone's way of life and the passage of time has converted him from the young prospective campaign management star to the now aged has been, he had one more chance to be relevant courtesy of The Donald and one more chance at a financial golden ring which is chump change to The Donald.

We are here embroiled in yet another 135 post (and counting) slimefest utterly devoid of meaningful issues. Stone is teaching us (on behalf of The Donald) that non-stop character assassination is great fun (for many) and a lot more rewarding than actually working for a better society. We are now living in Roger Stone's world, his natural habitat, his preferred environment: All slime all the time. This is what Roger does. This is who Roger is.

As you, my friend, are well aware, Western Civilization survived the worst of the so-called Dark Ages when monks in obscure abbeys and monasteries lovingly and faithfully copied Bibles and other works of the classical civilization that had collapsed before the onslaught of several centuries of barbarians. They labored oftentimes far from centers of population and far from the centers of power because they knew how important it was to preserve the work of Aristotle and Greek playwrights and Cicero and Virgil and Augustine and Ignatius of Antioch and so many others while barbarians burned the great library of Alexandria and repeatedly sacked Rome itself. It looks like we and our children may have to go back underground to preserve what is left.

I take second place to no one here in despising "The Establishment." That includes the Republican National Committee, Moral Monster Mitt Romney, John McCain, Robert Dole, Bush the Elder, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Paul Ryan, K Street, Wall Street and the United States Chamber of Crony Commerce and their respective ilks. You and I and other conservatives are expected to trust: trust, mind you, the New York City real estate mogul whose stock in trade is payoffs to DeBlasio, Emmanuel, the Clintons, Schmucky Chewmer and so many other corrupt politicos to lead us to the Promised Land where the lion will lie down with the lamb and "The Establishment" will finally be vanquished for the benefit of the "little guy." That would be the New York City real estte mogul who has spent his entire life promoting and funding leftist politicians and causes but has lately "come to Jesus" after analyzing the GOP primary electorate. All too any of us have been hijacked by Dr. Feelgood and his miracle elixir that will solve every ill, at least according to him.

Finally, Roger Stone does nothing in the way of serving the public good. It is time that some enterprising journalist engaged in some actual investigative journalism, followed the money trail, discovered how much Stone is being paid by Trump or on Trump's behalf. The last time Stone actually volunteered without a fat check was when he was in high school. If he is being paid, that must be reported or he and anyone paying for his services to Trump need to be subject to criminal investigation.

The problem now for Cruz is that his credibility is shot and that these two statements are mostly full of BS is not helping. He is clearly deflecting and trying to change the narrative. I tend to agree with the analysis in this article. Cruz has handled this matter terribly and that is what matters the most not the allegations although I don’t like it.

Throughout all my pursuing of various places, I have not seen it anywhere indicating that Trump had explicit knowledge of the alleged affairs - how could he and no one does. Trump is smart but I don’t think he would or could do this sort of thing in the first place, nor be able to manipulate and concoct this type of story and see it through - it’s ridiculous. On the other hand, if Trump did have the facts/ knowledge I think he’d just say it himself and not go through the NE.

Furthermore, the timing according to Ted clearly doesn’t match and he contradicts himself saying that there was information out there for a while then proceeds to blame Trump. Isn’t there a certain amount of production and lead time before the NE hits the supermarkets.

Anyways, I use to like Cruz but my problem is that he indeed lies constantly. There’s a guy in the WH doing that already and conservatives railed about it so why does Cruz get a pass? Also, lately it just does not seem like he is able to handle a crisis without blaming Trump. He needs to get back to where he was at the start of his campaign by taking the high road like when he used to say I’m not going to talk about this or that and then state his positions. Also, drop Beck.

I agree with you on all of this. Not one time has trump shied away from controversy. Trump has no problem calling a spade a spade. If he knew about Cruz, he’d punch him hard over it and not use a publication or sorrogates. Cruz needs to fess up or provide proof of these accusations. They are not going away. The worst actually is the money to Fiorina. I find it interesting that Cruz is going though his days thinking all is fine. He is acting like Hillary with her email scandal. Problem for Cruz is there is no Susan rice to save him if this is true. His campaign has been a mess from the start. He gives sermons about how great he does and loses 8 states out of 9. That is pure delusion in action.

Hmmm... Is Ted saying well it may be true buts the story is garbage and a smear because the NE had the audacity to publish the story.

He has. On multiple occasions. Adamantly. You simply choose to not listen, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

In 1998 we were treated to "I did not have sexual relations with that woman ...", a truly adamant explicit denial ( but which of course was proved meaningless. It took a sting operation and a frickin blue dress to nail that pervert to the truth. )

Cruz hasn't even come close to a adamant or explicit denial on any occasion, but has engaged in lawyerly legalese with a mile wide loophole. That should worry his followers.

What also should worry him is that he keeps digging by deflecting to Trump when he knows full well he has nothing to do with this. It is illogical. Whoever received the tips and information knows full well who the source is so there is no expectation for the source to stay anonymous. That is not a mistake that Trump would make. So Cruz is adding false allegations to his alleged crimes, and it sounds exactly like Hillary: "vast right wing conspiracy". I'm surprised that meme hasn't yet popped up!

I wonder if Trump was onto something with the Lyin' Ted thing, a play on "lawyer". We often mix "lawyer" and "liar" up here in New York and I bet nobody has more experience with lawyers than him.

I feel a little sorry for the old boy now. Cruz has a lot to think about every time he is near a camera and discusses this. He has to be careful about finger wagging. He must avoid words and phrases like

Failure to use discretion will result in instant video comparisons to the Rapist-in-Chief. Man, It has to suck to be him today. Every conversation on camera will require expenditure of lots of extra brainpower negotiating that narrow path without slipping up.

Read the story. Trump is waking back saying it was a Cruz ad. Trump most certainly has been saying that.

Walking it back? That's not likely at this point. Thing is, the image posted by that beast Liz Mair, most definitely *is* an ad, and it most definitely mentions Ted Cruz. There is no stretch of the English language that nullifies it from being a "Cruz ad". It is a "Cruz ad". Let's examine some of the myriad possibilities and angles.

Whether or not Cruz had a thing to do with it is one thing, but his chance of liability here is certainly existent. He could have circumvented that chance greatly by immediately calling Trump and reporting it wasn't from him, and sending a cease and desist to the Lizbian. Instead of that he let it run, in a State with an active election. This will meet the condition of tacit or intentional approval, the degree of which would be presumably determined by a jury or judge if it ever got that far.

If you substitute in any other hot button subject such as violence, child pornography, murder, assassination, and test the same inaction by Ted Cruz, suddenly inaction and deflection doesn't look like the smart play. More to the point, consider how Trump has been accused of everything from supporting the KKK by not denouncing a non-existent endorsement to inciting violence by not denouncing non-existent violence, and you see how lucky Cruz is at this moment. Not to mention being a complete and utter hypocrite.

Of course, there is a more egregious situation if it is found out that he or his campaign had any contact with Lizbo's Super PAC prior to the ad. That would be grade-A prime-beef trouble, a violation of election law in a section badly requiring a test case. My guess is that Lez and Ted would rather not be the test case in a Citizens United sequel. He is not that good of a lawyer judging by his recent actions. And the word on the street is that folks want that ruling overturned, badly. Not good to be poking this bear with a stick.

Someone holds copyright for that image, and they have hardwired intellectual property theft deep into modern law thanks to the Hollywood mafia and RIAA and others. IP theft with profit may include soliciting votes. If anyone should be lawyering up it is that beast Mair. But who reaps the profit off the stolen IP? Well, IF ( profit == votes ) THEN that would be Ted, again a badly needed test case which I'll bet no-one really wants to see their name attached to for all time in Wikipedia. Mair v. Federal Election Commission. Cruz v. Federal Election Commission. Yikes. Lez & Ted's excellent adventure.

Knowing how sensitive bands are to their music being played at a rally because of some far-fetched chance it may indicate endorsement or association demonstrates that it does not take much to constitute copyright breach and to exceed fair use. Such bands may not even hold the copyrights for their own music and still they have standing. YouTube is an active battlefield where all kinds of individuals' personal work is routinely taken down because they had a small amount of music included from some band, even short clips that are probably fair use. The benefit of the doubt has been back door legislated in favor of the alleged copyright holder with burden of proof shifted to user of the work. That would be you Lizbo.

In photos, there are cases where the photographer holds copyright, the photographed subject holds copyright, or sometimes both, all subject to possible contracts. I would expect Trump, if he was with her at the time, made sure there was a contract and both they and the photographer are injured parties. Dear God, I would not want to be the cause of a Trump injured party.

One must wonder what liability extends to the contributors to a Super PAC as well. There is no way I can see a concept of immunity for those that voluntarily contribute to something like this. The First Amendment angle that gave us Citizens United kind of goes out the window when one of these First Amendmenteers points at Lizbo and says: Your honor, it was her talking, not us!". That's twilight zone territory. Test case please.

Another angle is the question as to the merit of the content. I mean, when you read the solicitation to vote for Ted Cruz or else you may wind up with a beautiful woman as first lady for four years, one must wonder if that is a net negative or positive. It sure sounds like a negative to Ted because his face becomes the visual alternative to a lovely first lady ( bet you never thought of that one, eh Lizbo?!! ). Not to mention the fact that there are probably a whole lot less puritans than normal folks, well outside of Utah. This could be spun by Trump to shame those States as haters of beautiful women! The possibilities are endless. One thing is for sure, only a catty bon-bon eating fat woman or maybe a jealous lesbian could bring themselves to write such ridiculous tripe in the first place.

This case really hits on all avenues at once. An enterprising lawyer working for a p!ssed off client could create a tornado of trouble for everyone involved. I hear tell that an entire floor of his Manhattan tower houses a pool of sharks. Word is that his employees adore him and aim to please, so I imagine such folks take personal exception to sleazy tactics aimed at their favorite person. This situation alone should scare the bejeezus out of these GOPe and other snakes.

You know, had Lez Mair been a lonely blogger mindlessly blasting her/his/its madness into some lame article or social feed it would have been one thing, but she has willfully and stupidly placed herself right into the middle of so many political campaigns and controversies, presumably cashed some paychecks making her a "professional", that she is likely in deep trouble if Trump and others feel like giving it to her. ( Wasn't there some idiotic greentard that stepped into a polar bear cage or something, in Germany I think? )

Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall at Lez Mair's house? Each time the phone rings she must sh!t a brick. The only thing more interesting would being a fly on the wall in the Cruz household these days.

All things considered it would be a simple matter for Trump to cease & desist every single outlet that hosts the Liz Mair created Ted Cruz advertisement. It says something that Trump has not done that, perhaps he loves the image being out there as much as we love seeing it. All of this indicates that yet another scheme by the anti-Trump cabal has backfired. Trump controls this situation now, he says take it down, they take it down or else be cited as party to an FEC violation and copyright theft. He says jump, they say how high! He says nothing, his lovely wife graces screens everywhere despite the snarky caption written by some woman hater.

A major class A commercial RE developer(projects 100, million to one billion) has to deal with....

1) city politicians and govt. agencies.

2) County polititians and govt. agencies

3) State politicians and govt. agencies

4) federal politicians and govt. agencies.

5) Must be an expert in banking and finance.

6) Must correctly gauge major national and regional markets.

8) Must be able to promote & market project to the public long before completion.

These things make Trump in a class by himself, compared to ANY OTHER POLITICIAN. period!
