Trump operative Roger Stone, who has been defending Trump on TV and bashing Cruz harder than anybody for months, is the only source quoted in the NE article. So why in the world would we not blame the Trump camp for this?
Because Stone quit the Trump campaign in August of last year? He is definitely a Trump supporter but you can’t make the case he is an operative.
