I was going to write the same thing in response to someone who conceded that Cruz might have consorted with hookers but couldn’t imagine him able to find unpaid, attractive “volunteers”. I worked in DC in the mid-70s and again in the early 1980s. (Mea culpa.) There was a large surplus of young, attractive women working on Capitol Hill and for lobbyists on K St. There was an open competition among them to see how far they could sleep their way up the political food chain .
