Someone spoke to him, is my take. He seemed OK for Trump before, then took an extreme pro-Cruz turn recently. It is so blatant. I know Cruz is the only “conservative” running now, it is just odd the drastic change.
It still surprises me, since I would have thought that he would have continued with his policy of not supporting any republican over another.
