Heidi Cruz, the wife of GOP presidential contender Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% , deflected a threat by Donald Trump to “spill the beans” on her during a brief press conference in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
“Well, as you probably know by now, most of the things that Donald Trump says have no basis in reality,” Mrs. Cruz responded to a reporter’s question about Trump’s tweet.
“So we are not worried in the least and [we are] focusing on our campaign, and we are going to continue to do that,” she said.

“What I think most women want is a better future for their children, and that’s what I want and it’s why Ted and I are running,” Mrs. Cruz added.

So whatever it is he says I did, “we all know” that “most” things have “no basis in reality” so therefore, I didn’t do it.
This sort of dogs breakfast of fallacies is rarely effective as a prophylactic measure. Unless, of course, she knows what is coming.
The charges of “cowardice” and “attacking a woman” from Cruz are also curious attempts at a preemptive inoculation, all most as if they know what is coming and are trying to set up a “see I told you so” argument in defense, rather than answering questions about whatever it is that turns up.
I took an instant dislike to Heidi when I saw her first interviewed. It took me a while longer to develop the dislike/distrust for Cruz.
Cruz and his wife may be the Republican version of Bill & Hill.....................
The inquirer did have the scoop on John Edwards... How do you know the ages of butts he goes after? Purity Ted appears to have a deep dark closet... And he has earn every bit of dirt that he attempts to keep hidden... getting a spring cleaning. Hypocrites. Why, these two are reenacting the power couple Clintons...
The issue is not if ‘Gutter Donald’ tells the truth about Heidi, it’s if ‘Gutter Donald’ makes up more lies about her. His sheep believe his lies.
The real problem is that he has written about his conquests with married women, while he was married. In print. On the Howard Stern show. It is out there. How does he make his opponent look worse by comparison? How does he make you think his opponent is a sex-craved guy?
Through inference. That way he doesn't have to explain anything. He just mentions that there is some information which allows the audience to imagine what that may be in their own minds.
And to make it sound like his threats have some gravity, he will say: "If I am not treated right I will expose what I have."
Right now he has his toadie Roger Stone out looking for sex scandals. Another guy with his own sexual issues. Just Google Image Roger Stone if you don't believe me.
Getting involved with The Donald is like getting your foot stuck in a bucket of tar.
