Let it be understood that if Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Mitt Romney and the Republican Party power brokers steal the Republican nomination from Donald Trump at the convention -- when Trump is the clear leader -- we will walk out of the Republican party and not support its nominee.
Trump’s support transcends his personality and is a movement that if the Republican Party was open, would welcome and leverage to the country’s advantage, instead of impeding, obstructing and destroying.
Further, we will not return to the Republican Party but will go about the task of consolidating Trump’s political gains and reform the corrupt political system that cares more about itself than the interest of the United States.
Karl Rove and company, never ones to lack hubris, are very mistaken if they think that humpty dumpty (the Republican Party) can be put back together. We are prepared for the next stage of this battle, engaging our foes from George Patton’s maxim, "Never let the enemy pick the battle site."

I think that's why Trump is running. He, of all people, has realized just how crooked our Country has become. He wants to go up there and fix it. He's disgusted that he has to grease palms to get things done (shades of Mexico and other 3rd world countries).

Nice to see these folks will understand that there are people like me who will not vote for Trump under any circumstances because he is not a Conservative. Glad I won’t have to endlessly listen them in the fall telling me not voting for Trump is a vote for Hillary....

It’s sad that there are so many political operatives on FR now, whose mission is to divide and disrupt. Some are just trolls, hoping to inflame and bait a response; others seek to confuse and/or distract by getting posters hung up on murky, irrelevant points.
While it’s tempting to either respond in like kind, or, to try to get them to consider your thoughts, at this point, I consider it to be a fruitless endeavor.
Once again, I appreciate your reasoned, thoughtful words. You may have posted on our Trump Family threads, I’m sorry if I haven’t noticed. But if you haven’t, you are most welcome to join us there for civil discourse and lots of fun as well.

I did not mean to assign blame/fault to either the Cruz or Trump camp with my post. I just meant that a shattering of any GOP unity is IMO likely to produce a HRC win. Whether she’s in front of or behind iron bars at Leavenworth. To her supporters, it’s clear that doesn’t matter.

I will leave the repub party. You’re damn right I walk. However, If it’s very close, and it takes a number of ballots, then I’ll be a bit more able to accept it.
So it’s all a matter of degree. If they steal the election from either candidate who is the clear front runner, then I leave the party and it deserves to die.
Make your state officials know what they will do by denying Trump the nomination if he wins it at the polls. I’m also going to burn my voter registration in front of GOP headquarters.
