It's not that simple. This is millions, maybe billions of dollars for the Republican cabal and they're going to fight to the death to keep it. That and their seat at the table.
I'm hoping Cruz will drop dramatically when people find out about his ad, etc. Hope so anyway, Trump needs to win this outright.
Yes, I understand this, and there will be some who would burn it all down, but they aren’t ALL of them... As I said, I believe cooler heads will prevail when its all said and done...
Honestly though, I don’t think you get to a contested convention.... I see Trump hitting 1237+ and view this “contested convention” as political theater which is just cover for the GOPe to damage Trump as much as possible in the general... Think about it, they are running how many hundreds of millions of dollars on ads attacking Trump that have been shown to have ZERO impact on republican primary voting... so why do it? Because the republican primary voter isn’t the intended audience, the general election voter is.... I think they know they can’t stop Trump, and their game is to just poison the pool now and using the “contested convention” as the excuse to make sure those ads are running 24/7 to poison the general pool.
