“Again on these head-to-head polls, it was Carter +20 over Reagan. Howd that work out?”
___________________
That worked out well for Ronald Reagan...polls can be wrong, polls can change...in the end, polls are usually just a measure of public opinion at a moment in time.
So, at this moment in time based upon the current RCP averages, Cruz has a much better chance of beating Clinton that Trump...it’s just the current data...not the final data!
It’s data that only a fool would use to decide who to vote for.
Trump has been taking hits from every direction. From the media. From the GOPe. From ‘conservatives’. From Democrats. The fact that his numbers aren’t even WORSE than they are in any of these polls just goes to his strength. He hasn’t even started running against Hillary yet and there’s still a contentious primary on our side.
Meanwhile, nobody gives a rat’s ass about Ted Cruz, so nobody attacks him. Add to that the fact that a huge portion of the general election electorate doesn’t know Ted Cruz from a hole in the ground and you get better numbers.
For now. Which is utterly meaningless. Choose your candidate that way and you WILL lose.
