My take, this seems to boil down to amnesty, the defining issue with “both” parties.

Republicans are committing political suicide if amnesty gets enacted, that is, if there were an actual two party system.

Truth is, the government/establishment doesn't give a damn about it's citizens. It's cares about maintaining power as a true uniparty and cheap labor, both of which are accomplished with amnesty.

Admittedly, I no longer support Sen. Cruz for President. But, more importantly, I'm troubled by the pro-amnesty crowd getting behind Cruz, as I think it goes further than stopping Trump. I suspect it sends the message that Cruz might be a campaign Conservative on amnesty, while in actuality, he might be susceptible to signing off on amnesty legislation if CIC.

Yes the Amnesty crowd is behind Cruz. Yet Cruz's words told Americans that he is so against Amnesty.

This Cruz is the most despicable liar and con man I've ever seen.

Now we see Cruz is allying himself with Soros, Mitt Romney, Lindsay Graham , etc. all the enemies of America and Americans when his words led many Americans to think he was for them and against these enemies. But his actions show Cruz is with the Gope.

. Cruz did support H1B(lied about flipping on it), ditto for TPA, Iran nukes deal (The corker bill). This Cruz was even involved in getting Roberts(obamacare) on the scene. Just TPA TPP and obamacare and Iran nukes, the 3 worse things ever for America Cruz was for.

Any of you supporting Cruz that live in the United States will have a lot of economic hurt coming to you courtesy of Cruz and China with TPP , illegals, immigrants, H1Bs etc.

It's ridiculous that many Cruz supporters would rather be a worshiper of this Canadian fraud than to save the USA they live in from falling into the abyss politicians have us close to falling into, and then have the Country they live in go down the tubes. You Cruz supporters think you won't go down with America when China wipes out manufacturing in the USA with TPP? Think again.

Wow ,Texans and some conservatives this Cruz has conned you even worse than other politicians have as neither have done anything for Texas, for conservatism, for America ever.

If so then name the laws the only lasting and real thing a politician can do.

As someone who lives in Texas, and used to have an illegal trail behind my house, I think I've got a pretty good grip on the illegal alien problem.

I first started listening to Cruz as he talked about the fight in 2008 to have illegal aliens serve their convictions for crimes committed against Texans....and believe it or not, Cruz was talking about walls/securing the border, increasing border patrol numbers, doubling surveillance equipment and kicking the criminal illegals out of the US LONG before Trump even decided to run in 2016.

The most comprehensive talk I heard him give in a round table discussion started with there was no sense even talking about what to do with the illegals ALREADY here, until we stopped the flow, because Americans had been lied to, time and time again, about "never doing amnesty again". He also made the comment that WHEN those promises of fixing the border were kept, it should be up to the American public, NOT politicians in Washington, to decide what to do with the illegals who were already here.

And in more recent times, Cruz is the one who wrote Kate's Law as a companion to legislation introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Rep. Matt Salmon...

So do I think some pro-amnesty guys are supporting Cruz because they expect to get amnesty? No

But I'm also not buying into the meme that they are doing it to "stop" Trump, either.....since they seem to be spreading "insults" about Cruz..... as often as they are endorsing him. LOL
