LOL! I feel the same way about my nephew! I was a hover auntie from the time he was first born almost 14 years ago. Of course I've had to take steps back b/c it's up to my sis and BIL, but I still sometimes ever so gently offer my opinions. He's become more and more independently minded over the years and I've had to take into account that he's a teen and probably going through puberty . I mostly just try to keep my thoughts to myself or word them in a way that doesn't sound like I'm preaching - such as, have you considered xyz, what do you think about xyz, etc. I do love that kid so much!
