I watched and definitely saw a teleprompter. Again, no big deal. I’m a Trump supporter. I actually thought this was a good thing.

Yes. It was on Prompter, and agree that's a very good thing. Showed enormous respect for the audience and the subject, showed Trump knows how exeptionally important it is to get it exactly right.

The speech was very natural, with strong Trumpian cadences – so either Trump wrote it himself, or he has a speechwriter who knows how to write in Trump's voice.

There will never be another Reagan, but Trump is certainly a leader. He was Churchillian in the sense of taking political risks by calling out the Palestinian Terror Culture that to date has been completely ignored by the West.

I listened to Cruz’ speech. We now have to add Israeli/Jewish to Dominionist and Mormon. Speaking Jewish/Hebrew and hitting Trump. One of his typical campaign speeches, not worth the time it took to listen for me, fortunately I was surfing the net with it in the background.

LOL. Cruz supporters constantly complain that I never listen to him. This was the second time, it wasn’t any better than the first time I listened to him last fall. At least now I can say I did it. Will not listen again though unless he is saying he’s dropping out of the race.

I agree some speeches are off the cuff, some speeches need facts and this was a history maker.

I knew he would be different today. It was what was called for and President Trump hit a grand slam, out of the park, to win the game, President Trump caught the hail mary with 0 time remaining on the clock, hat trick, half court shot to win by 1....It was the mist of greatness that doesnt happen much in this life..I am proud to be an American and voting for The Future President of the US of A.

He disrespected the whole point of the speech by doing that.

It is more fun to have him speaking off the cuff, I agree.
However, this was a really important speech tonight, and I am glad that he used the teleprompter.
He’s not used to it, so probably was a little stiffer than usual.
