Believe me, they know a lot more than we know. So, don’t be surprised if Kasich ends up the nominee. I remember when McCain was supposedly out of the running.

He does the best against either Sanders or Clinton.
Then by all means you should at least send him a check...Cuz that's what the polls say.

So far "the polls say" everyone that can't seem to beat Trump, somehow "do the best" against Hillary/Bernie.

Oh yeah! A cloaked democrat, NWO globalist, oligarchy supported splitter one heartbeat from the office of president! Cruz would prove his so called intelligence to distance himself from this man and his donor class leftist supporters.

John Kasich on Sunday did not rule out making a deal with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz to win enough delegates between them to force a contested convention, but said he is focused on winning the presidency himself.
Now there's a proposal that shows total disrespect for Ted Cruz...But he's too stupid to know it.

Kasich already got paid.
$50 million dollars to Cleveland for the convention, plus all the spending that will go with it, was kick-back to Kasich to stay in as spoiler.

Why else was Cleveland chosen?

Exactly right. If cruz and Kasich can do the establishments bidding then all the GOP and Dems stay on their gravy train.

As I tend to keep believing that good overcomes evil, your hope is mine too. Then again, we’ve been living under a dark cloud for over 7 years, time for the sun to return!

If only Kasich had tried to resemble a conservative, he might have made a good V.P. pick in a deal with Cruz. After coming out for Obama’s nominee on top of amnesty and his other liberal positions, he’s all but disqualified himself from consideration.

We should just nominate Sanders then. With Republican votes behind him, he can finally overtake Hillary.

We’re the principled people who are supposed to try to get candidates elected who we actually agree with on the issues, not ones who are so liberal they might get “crossover” Democrat votes.

Yeah, simple logic. Trump appeals to 1/3rd of the Republican party and no one else. At least 1/3rd of the Republican party abandons him in the general as do all of the Democrats, so he loses. No other candidate experiences that Republican revolt in the general, so they do better. And Kasich truly does appeal to crossover Democrats, unlike Trump who energizes the entire Obama minority coalition against him, when they otherwise might've stayed home since they don't like Hillary much. Cruz, on the other hand, energizes the entire Republican party like Reagan did and gets independents who see he is a real contrast to Hillary, real change from Obama, and never praised Hillary or donated to her.

Hmmm. We may have miscalculated when we pushed Kasich in Ohio in order to keep Ohio from Trump.

We may have created a Frankenstein Monster. Kasich actually seems to think he’s relevant and apparently he doesn’t know that much of his Ohio support was just anti-Trump votes.

Kasich is crazy but he’s not evil.

Ted Cruz is a very good man and a fine conservative.

What has Trump done to your moral center that you would wish these two men to wither in flames.

And how will you get your soul back when Trump either loses or Trump wins and shows you both his feet of clay.

This must be ‘Laugh In’ and we must be playing the part of Judy Carne

Until Cruz can prove NBC, he should not be making any deals.

John, don’t you have a route?

"Kasich needs to suspend his campaign pronto so it comes down to Cruz versus Trump mano a mano, where Cruz trump's tRump. "

This thread is about that lunatic wanting to make a deal with your lunatic. And given your lunatic's track record, a deal is underway - just got to consult the Devil first...

But but but ... a little trumper told me yesterday, in defense of Trump, that he gave more to Republicans than he did to democrats.

Duh.

That was her idea of a defense.

So, we lose no matter what? Because your last sentence is pure fantasy. If Cruz energized anyone beyond that minority of “Jesus Voters”, then Trump would be out of the race by now. I will vote for him if he wins the nomination, but it will not be with “energy”. It will be simply the completion of chore that must be done.
