It is over and Trump has won. Anyone who says it is not over is either in denial a liar or both. The only way Cruz can win is if Trump does not win another state and that is not going to happen. After he cleans up in the Northeast and splits the West as well as taking California, Oregon and Washington he will exceed the magic number by a healthy margin.
Ted Cruz has to say he has a chance to keep those Megadonor dollars coming before the door slams shut. It is what career politicians do to fill their bank accounts. Sure he is still mathematically in the game just like the Washington Generals could win against the Globetrotters, but he is not going to. He has become a blocking tool for the real power behind the throne.
This election is like no other as we see a unique candidate who breaks all of the rules moving from Hollywood star to Presidential nominee. The self professed determiners of all that is righteous Conservative are telling us that Trump is a liberal due to his New York history while those of us unwashed hardcore Conservatives claim that he never was that liberal and has become more conservative after a few years of pure Obama Marxism.
The Mark Levins of the world claim giving to liberals proves he is a liberal when many realize that as a businessman you have to give to Dems to get anything done in a Democrat sewer. When you live in NYNY it is expected that you grease the palms of those who demand the grease. It is a bit like Captain Renault in Casablanca when he is shocked there is gambling in the Casino. You mean there is corruption in NYC, we are shocked, shocked. The only thing shocking is the corrupt politicians who are selectively outraged.
America is sick and tired of the entire Marxist movement and whether The Donald knows it or not he has exposed the entire Soros Swamp. This has been an organized plan to destroy the freedoms and liberties America has enjoyed since its founding. America is the only thing standing in the way of the world gummit people like George Soros has planned since his emergence during WWII as a collaborator with Nazi Germany. He has been a radical Nazi his entire life and is still determined to convert America into an atheistic Nazi Socialist country.
Soros and a number of borderless internationalist billionaires like the way the world is organized and are hoping to take the next step with Hillary or Bernie. One of the Bush clones would work just as well since they would be under control of the multiple large donors that would keep DC on the path it is on. Of course Repub groups like the Chamber of Commies would all walk lockstep towards that path on a single world with open trade to redistribute America’s wealth.
Of all the rotten luck that there plans would potentially be destroyed by a B grade actor…er…a reality show actor who would reflect the thoughts of your average Joe. He has caught the message of the Tea Party without the boring Constitutional proclamations and just says what Americans are thinking. He has opened up the dialogue as he refuses to be censored by the PC nazis who want you to speak only how and what they want you to say. This of course is labeled hate speech which incites violence as opposed to their wanting to kill cops and Whitey peaceful speech.
They do not know how to combat Trump. Living in the belly of the beast has taught him how to beat them at their own game. He knows what they are going to say before they say it and his superior verbal skills has him articulating his vision of America before they can tear it down. Not only does he articulate what America has stood for through the centuries, he is the symbol of its opportunities. Whether either side wants to admit it or not he has succeeded beyond most people’s imagination so when he says he wants America to succeed it carries weight.
The race is over and the only thing left is whether Trump will exceed the 1237 delegates which he will. He will be a tsunami through the NE which will only grow his momentum more and more. It is time for the Establishment to do what they always require the Conservatives to do and that is to unite behind the winner of the primaries. Those RINOS claiming to be conservative need to accept the same fate we always accept when they get Romney, InSaine, Bush selected in FL and now they can join the team. Drop your friend Soros, moveon, blackliesmatter and let Trump take the wheel. It is time for the establishment to accept the will of the people for once in our lifetime. It is time for the once a generation President to remind Americans what America was all about.

I didn’t see Cruz listed on any of the Sunday shows. Seems strange.
Kasich is on all the shows too. Wonder if McConnell is going to sell him?
It’s funny to see the protesters with signs that use the KKK and fascism in them. The KKK was a political enforcement arm of the Democrat Party, and still is as far as I know; and the left is so sold on fascism that they don’t realize Trump is the opposite of being a fascist, wanting less government and not more.
The protesters are clueless anarchists, communists and fascists. The best response would be to jail them and fine them, along with confiscating their vehicles where necessary.

Yeah I got a story this morning, I can’t resist.
First, thank you AB for doing this thread every Sunday, including this Palm Sunday when I will be singing at the 10am mass….that’s part of my story.
Thank you Bray for sharing your weekly wisdom and thank you yon commenters who really fill my brain with thought.
Okay, the singing story. I promise after this I shall never mention my singing stuff again except I will, no matter how they try to stop me, keep on singing.

It began about five years ago if you can believe. I NEVER sing solo….just don’t. Yes I have a nice voice, deep and rich, but I never sing at weddings, keroke and other venues because that’s just not me. Hard to believe I have some modesty, but I do. That and I don’t believe I am that good at it.
So at choir practice one night about five years ago I was asked to sing an alto part for whatever reason. Well this was choir practice. I don’t usually sing solo there either but I sang about two stanzas and there was silence in the room.
Then everybody, one at a time, discussed how beautiful it sounded, this one, that one….about fifteen people. I smiled but thought they were just saying that to be nice. About five years ago and I’ve always wondered what that was all about.
Because I always try to sing soprano and I am nowhere NEAR a soprano, so I settled for Alto. I am pretty good at alto but come on, altos aren’t great singers, right? They’re just put there to deepen the harmony but singing solo? Nope.
Only I’m not an alto OR a soprano….more on this later. See if you can guess.
My vocal range has always been so deep that I’ve honestly am ashamed of it. What woman sings as deep as I do without actually being a man? Serious, I can sing as deep as any bass on the planet and I’ve never been especially proud of it.
Of course the music director always tells me to drop down an octave if need be because once you get above about a G on the treble clef I struggle. I never drop down that octave because then I sound JUST LIKE A MAN!
When I was young my father and I used to at least once a year get together and sing Christmas songs together. One of my more pleasant memories. I SOUNDED EXACTLY LIKE HIM though my father was a very good singer. My beloved husband LOVED for me to sing to him and every Saturday night for ten years we would sit in the basement watching late night shows and husband would have me sing to him all night….at times I had to beg for mercy as bedtime was upon.
Ever since they put me up in that attic called a choir loft I have begun to sing in my true range, which is from the bottom of the bass clef to about the middle of the treble clef and I believe y’all have read my tribble about the choir loft, the congregation below looking up to see who’s doing that singing, the choir director placing me at the front of the balcony jutting over the congregation with speakers in my face, the priest peering from the distant altar to ascertain who’s doing that singing.
Because it does sound beautiful, I don’t know why. The rest of the choir backs me up from behind and for about five masses now I’ve been singing those masses in my REAL vocal range….go to hell. Because I am up high I can sing much louder than I ever could before because not only do I sing like a man, I got the strongest, deepest, loudest voice of anybody I know.
I’m not sure that’s a good thing but evidently when sung from overhead it’s very pleasing to the parishioners. One week I shared with you all how our choir director wrote me an email telling me how much he loves what I call my four note range because I always thought that was my range and joked about it.

Because I looked it up and my knees buckled.
Contraltos are female singers with extremely deep vocal ranges and get this….some very famous singers are contraltos, including Adele! Only five percent of the female singers on the planet are Contraltos.
I actually downloaded a song from a singer labelled as contralto, Annie Lennox, if you know her. Indeed she sounds very much like me. And I really do NOT sound like a man, that was all in my head. But I do sound like a woman with a very deep voice. Heh.
Now I drop down that octave and the choir stands back and I pull them right along. I am not at all sure it sounds all that good so I taped me singing in my correct range and listened back.
It DOES sound very pretty.
Go to hell.

Anyway….true story. 65 years old and discovering my true voice and that others like it.
I was always so ashamed of singing like a man though husband, also a musician, and choir director, love my singing. I just sang to please them, wanting more than anything to be a soprano but I settled for an alto.
I should be singing with the men and indeed, often I am asked to sing with them….not enough show up, that kind of thing.
Been watching the Trump events and the creeps protesting his events. Looking forward to the shows today and anybody want me to sing them a song…..forget about it.
I don’t do solos and never will.
But from that perch in the choir loft the parishioners all crowd into those back pews to be right under me, the choir director chooses songs in my range…..
God loves me perhaps. It’s been an amusing distraction.

Republican Curly, from North Dakota, admitted on MSNBC (??) that both the Republican and Democrat party elders WILL choose their own candidate. Candidate selection is the responsibility of party elders. The people working the primary’s, the primary votes, the hundreds of millions spent all matter not.
Curly stated it was the media’s fault for reporting a false impression of the primary process
When asked why do have primaries, Curly responded “thats a good question!”
