not to mention Jay that his vehicle was fired on at the first stop when he had his hands out the window, unarmed- after which he took off only to meet another hail of gunfire up the road- He jumped out of the vehicle and ran as far from it as he could in order to draw their fire AWAY from the vehicle and those inside the vehicle-

both times he was acting in an effort to protect those in the vehicle but it didn’t do much good because police and FBI turned their guns on the vehicle after lavoy was down- it was a miracle that noone else in the vehicle was murdered-
