I'll agree with the first part of the statement, but the second part is horse manure.

The first part is BS. Trump, even if he becomes the nominee and wins the general, will be a small aberration. It takes a strong message and persistent ideology to cause real change.

No insult to trump fans but ‘build a wall is only good until the wall is built and ‘great again’ is likewise self limiting. The trump legacy is one of populism and anger. Both will disappear soon after reality sets in.

The party will be damaged and the brand distorted but it won’t go away. In that way, trump is like candy. It’s wonderful for a short time but you know you need real substance for sustenance.
