Name one state Obama won in 2012 that Cruz will flip.
The question is did he do it legally in furtherance of his duties at a head of a business or did he do it to further his political goals and 'forget' to disclose it?
He only accepts money from individuals who are limited to 2700 per primary and 2700 for the general.
The list is very slim and they are unsolicited other than a link on his website. ( I am a donor to both Trump and formally, Cruz)
The “Outside Money” if you click on it is a ton used in OPPOSITION. Club Growth has spent 8 million alone, to defeat Trump. Those globalists don’t like nationalists!

“Because I know Trump supporters will have no problem supporting Ted should he somehow pull off a win.”
Cruz would not get the crossover vote that’s going to Trump. That alone would kill Cruz’s chances in the general...
But that wouldn't stop you from condemning them as helping Hillary, would it.
This sort of conspiracy baloney turns me off to Trump more than anything else.
Obama is a far better campaigner than Hillary. Hillary has the charisma of a corpse and isn’t an empty canvas for people to project their fantasies on.
I mean look at their second candidate, the Dems have a crap hand and they know it.
You do realize that Heidi was involved with both entities, right?
The polls simply do not bear that out.
Which will be perfect if she starts talking about her “independence” in a debate. He has her.
This couldn't be any clearer. This big conservative Cruz was always the fall back guy for the disciples of deceit in D.C.
** Surprised Cruz is allowing this to happen. Its so obvious hes being used. He has no chance. **
Some days it seems like he knows he’s being used and all the implications that accompany that possibility.
On other days it seems like he hadn’t caught on to being used despite how much his colleagues (allegedly) hate him.
It has to be one of the above, and I can’t decide which one of those truths would make it acceptable that Ted Cruz is my state senator, much less our president.
Cruz knows the can’t win on his own. In his heart he knows the gop will never let him be their nominee. But he wants it so bad, and he believes God wants it, so he’ll get in bed with the devil and hope he heard God right.
I’ve become convinced in the last few days that Trump will not be the nominee.
Cruz might be a compromise candidate if the establishment believes he’s needed to get back some percentage of those mad about “whatever it takes” to ice out Trump.
I now believe Cruz is the most likely nominee followed by Kasich, Ryan and Trump in order of probability.
The Trump supporters say they don’t care what the establishment thinks anymore. They’ve heard you. They are replying. Listen to what they’re saying this week:
We decide the nominee, not you. If you don’t like it, too damn bad. You’ve had your temper tantrum but we’re not letting a vocal minority take down the party.
They will not let Trump be the nominee. They know your reaction is baked in. If there’s going to be a crack up no matter what, then they are going to crack things up on their terms, and those terms are #nevertrump.
I don’t subscribe to this philosophy. Don’t shoot the messenger. But. The message being sent is clear.
“So Don Trump has never taken or borrowed Wall Street money? Hahahahaha! Really?!”
Excuse me, but all investors large and small take wall street money. Every body that has an IRA... That’s totally different than a politician taking money contributions.
I agree. If you look at most of the Trump people on Twitter, they would stay home rather than vote for Cruz. When they see him with Graham and Fiorina and Perry . . . well, it looks like a roll call of the establishment.
I understand Trump has Christie, but Carson was a true outsider. Cruz just, for appearances sake, looks like the “inside” guy.
At this point I don’t expect Cruz to win the nomination. But it’s worth a chuckle to note how holy and precious the polls have been when they favored Trump (among Republicans) but don’t seem worth a glance when they show him, alone among all candidates, losing to Clinton in the general. A lot can and will change between now and November. Clinton might drop dead from a coughing fit aneurism. Trump might morph into a combination statesman and everybody’s favorite kindly uncle. But the whole we lose with Cruz and win with Trump argument has no basis in the polls Trump fans love to use like a club.
See the tagline.
Hillary is the Obamacrats darling who will not let her be indicted and will do everything to get her elected.
Cruz will lose to her but Trump will beat her like a drum IMO.
I don’t know what “the Conservative Movement” is but if it has anything to do with the status quo of the GOP, it, like the GOP as we know it, needs to die.
The title of this article is incredibly accurate. Probably more than daily caller intended.
Teddy is really a two-fer for the uniparty. First, Teddy will lose to hitlery. Period. He doesn’t run well outside of deep red states that are going to vote for the gop candidate in any case. Teddy didn’t even get second place in VA, OH, or FL. States he absolutely must win to get the Presidency. The tediban will deny it to the heavens, but Teddy doesn’t have a chance in hades of winning the general absent an indictment of the witch or an opportune meteor strike. That’s one win for the uniparty.
Second and almost as important to the uniparty is that a Teddy nomination sets them up to purge the noisome, irritating conservatives from the gop. It gives them a chance to say: “look, we ran a staunch comservative and he got clobbered. Now p!ss off. “
