The racial make-up of the NYC metro area makes it surprising that they even have the parade anymore; eventually they’ll be shipping in pipe bands from upstate NY, Pennsylvania and south Jersey (where the Irish fled).
I’m surprised Chicago still has a St. Patrick’s Day parade. That city is about as Irish as Baghdad is right now.
