Judging from the reaction of many Trump supporters across the web, there are people even threatening to change their support if Cruz is on the ticket. Cruz also doesn’t really add anything to the ticket to begin with. It’s better if Cruz takes a Supreme Court position as the best compromise, to be honest.

Sounds good to me.

Win-win - Cruz is young, he has plenty of time to eventually become president.

I like it but I don’t think Cruz can set aside his ego to let it happen. We will see. It would be great for both the country and the party.

Yes!

And I think we need to find a way to curb our anger here as well.

I have been advocating this for time, as you may know.

I am a Cruz supporter, but he needs to work under Trump to learn how to broaden his appeal.

I could live with that. In fact, that would create a dynamic duo.

I think that ship has sailed. Too much bad blood between Cruz and Trump...It would be an absolutely bizarre turn of events for them to join forces, especially since Cruz seems to have made a deal with the devil, by siding with the GOPe against Trump.

In a lot of ways it would be nice, but I don’t know how Trump does it after insisting Ted is an illegal Canadian.

Yes, that would be best. It is time for Cruz to walk the walk.

I wish this would happen, but I’m afraid the primaries have caused too much ill will.

A Trump/Cruz ticket would be ideal. I’ve been saying it for months now, and getting laughed at for it. I still pray for it, however. The election would be over the moment they announced it.

Yes! And I say that as a guy who has certainly become less enamored with Cruz throughout the course of the campaign. If he did, it would be a huge step towards party unification.

Hell yeah! Unity time, before we get so far apart that we can’t.

I think we’re getting there. Maybe just a few more Tuesdays. No more debates.

It would be a smart move, as long as Cruz behaved himself. I just do not think he has the temperament to agree to such a deal, Cruz that is.

I am not opposed to a Trump/Cruz ticket - especially given it would silence the establishment and we could start focusing this race on Hillary and making America Great again. Frankly, they will be the two top vote getters so in all fairness Trump/Cruz takes into account the people’s choice.
