GWB said something similar, “I know my own mind.” I don’t see a problem with this. Trump shouldn’t name-drop his advisors. It projects, as the media put it in GWB’s case, a lack of “gravitas”.
Reagan was the same, sure he had advisers and he listened to their opinions, but ultimately he went with his gut.
