After eight years of boring sameness even the press are sick of him. He hasn’t helped their cause...far from it.
If Trump somehow wins (opinions of Trump notwithstanding) it will be a political shockwave that will make Obama’s election look like a ripple. He will go from emeritus status to a total irrelevancy not just electorally but in the power game. This is what will drive him mad and drive him out of DC.
It’s so typical of Obama to imagine he can play puppet master after decades of being the puppet himself. He has demonstrated to one and all that he is incapable of the most basic leadership even among his ideological brethren (Pelosi can’t stand him). Who, apart from his die hard sycophants, will listen to him let alone follow him once he’s lost the big plane and the free ski junkets for the WH press?
