>>>You only heard the tariff threat which was for Chinese consumption.

Yes, you’re not the first to posit that theory.

It’s akin to: If you don’t stop hurting yourself, I’ll cut off my arm.

What’s the grand art of that deal?

Does this theory apply to the 20 states Trump has won with Cruz usually in 2nd.

And in a majority of those states, Cruz would have won in a two man race. That has been the story all along. Trump has been a plurality candidate in a divided field. He would have lost to any number of the others in a one on one race. He will lose to Hillary one on one in November. He has the highest negatives on record, close to 100% name ID, virtually no undecided's, and very little growth potential. The merry band of Trumpsters are gleeful about his broken field running through a too-large primary field, but they do not realize how naked Trump is once it gets down to one on one.

“My answer: Primarily to avoid tanking the economy.”

The economy has already been tanked — trade agreements.

“Trump couldn’t seal the deal. He needed to win Ohio and failed. He’s a loser”

And Cruz was the winner?

Yesterday, even Rush Limbaugh said the trade agreements were not good for the country.

we drive GM cars

I used to drive GM cars and will do so again, just as soon as the UAW repays the $50 billion it was gifted from the Treasury.

With interest.

If he is elected and he blows something he would deserve criticism like every other President.

“And I imagine that “Southerners” don’t consider Texans one of them!”

Texas has been swarmed by carpetbaggers and mojados since the 1980’s. Texas isn’t what it was, and that technical win by oily Felito is a new benchmark for sick kitten weakness.

I thought maybe Kasich might have done oily Felito a solid and come in with an even more feeble win, but no, Texas remains the weakest win in the past 102 years for the GOP incumbent. In other words, since they have kept track of this. Just think! If the GOP dissolves, this will be the standing benchmark for lackluster wins in Republican history:

I hate what the UAW has done to all three American auto manufacturers, but they are simply trade unions doing what they’ve been doing for a century or more. The blame has to be laid squarely on the company senior management for promulgating their own self-interest (like bigger salaries, stock options, and bonuses) for keeping the plants running irrespective of the disasterous consequences of the unearned pay and benefits they handed to their workforce (along in some instances with building crap and selling it as transportation, do you remember the Vega and the K-Car?)

You are describing California to a tee! Until WWII, California was the land of milk and honey. Wonderful climate, mostly white and Asian, and very productive. The war changed all that with the defense industry’s arrival along with thousands of “southerners” who “migrated” here to take those jobs. But when the war ended, along with the jobs, we had a ready-made welfare class that continues to exist today. But now it’s “fed” by the follow on migration of East Coast iiberals who had, after managing to crap up their birth nests, moved their outhouses to California, along with agribusiness deciding that it would run on illegal immigrant labor.

So I take it you are an avid subscriber to the Psychic Friends Network? There are no facts to support your comment. So I guess your Shamin from Haiti is giving you your info.
