Idiots in MN that voted for him at the Caucuses caught saying "say what"?
Try learning a bit more about St. Reagan, the man, not the myth. He was an extraordinarily fine leader and President, but he, too, had feet of clay.
There is no perfect candidate. Ever.
Politics is, in the end, a game for realists, not those wearing rose colored glasses.
But I don’t understand all of this...wasn’t his father a bartender?
I never said there was a perfect candidate.
I said your comparing Rubio to Reagan was disgusting and offense, because it is.
Mirco Rubio is a lying snake.
Say bye bye to Micro.
He’s done.
No matter how eloquent Marco’s speech was, I find it very difficult to muster up any praise, or sympathy, for the guy. He was elected into office by promoting himself as aligned with the TEA party movement. Then, once in office he immediately sides with not only RINO’s, but Chucky and other Dems, whispering all kinds of deals into his head. The guy was and is a fraud. Good riddance!
Damn! Now Kasich will soar
Amnesty boy was always changing his message, but the fundamental goal remained the same: keep the borders open for the illegals, though he could never say that openly. He has that rare ability to speak 1,000 words when a guy like Trump could say the same thing in 10 words. And if the goal was to totally obscure his message, he could do that too, perhaps more skillfully than Rush or George Will. Gang of Eight boy was also a kind of Don Quixote. He had zero experience, but he read a few books and that's where he dreamed up his fantasies of chasing windmills and becoming POTUS. He told us in the debates how he would follow the Bushes and start another war to conquer Syria, and possibly start World War III with the Russians. Very dangerous -- possibly more dangerous than Obama who at least has the wisdom to keep himself out of big trouble. H. L. Mencken, the terror of Baltimore, wrote an epitaph about William James Bryan, the Democrat demagogue of the early 20th century. And his description of Bryan can be applied to Rubio, I think: "But what of his life? Did he accomplish any useful thing? Was he, in his day, of any dignity as a man, and of any value to his fellow-men? I doubt it. Bryan, at his best, was simply a magnificent job-seeker. The issues that he bawled about usually meant nothing to him. He was ready to abandon them whenever he could make votes by doing so, and to take up new ones at a moment's notice." "...The job before democracy is to get rid of such canaille. If it fails, they will devour it." |
This will not be the last we hear from Rubio. Florida’s Governor Rick Scott’s term will be ending in the next year and I’m sure little Marco has his eyes on this as a stepping stone to the next Presidential election. Keep your eye on Adam Putnam, who could probably demolish Rubio head to head and could be a great presidential candidate in the future. He’s a true conservative. You heard it here first.
Rubio will do as Rubio always does, shift his allegiance to whoever he thinks can advance his career the most!
now who has small hands.
Limp Bizcut vs Korn “Say what say what”. “My combover is bigger than yours”
Agreed. I am not a Rubio fan, but his speech was well done.
Another reason to move our reps and Senators home to their districts. Let them serve by teleconference. Keep them away from thr temptations of DC.
Spot on
“Another reason to move our reps and Senators home to their districts. Let them serve by teleconference. Keep them away from thr temptations of DC.”
Agree 100%!
With all the advanced communications in existence today, they could easily stay in their districts and teleconference back to D.C.
It is a lot easier to ignore e-mails,faxes and letters, than ignoring a few hundred angry constituents outside with torches and pitchforks.
