Breitbart EXCLUSIVE: Newt Gingrich: If Trump Wins Big in Florida, They Won’t Be Able to Stop Him
Breitbart ^ | March 15, 2016 | Patrick Howley

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tells Breitbart News that if Donald Trump wins big in Florida today, the party “won’t be able to stop him.”

"If Trump gets big numbers in Florida, you’re not going to be able to stop him. You’ll just tear the party apart,” he said.

“If Trump wins Florida by the margin anticipated, then [Sen. Marco] Rubio could stay in just to affect the numbers, but he won’t be a serious candidate anymore,” Gingrich said.

As I understand, right now Trump is way ahead in FL.

Cruz is not competing with Trump. Everywhere he had an opportunity to finish a strong second, or even third, he failed.

I agree.

If he can’t break 20% in FL and OH primary, how does he win those in Nov?

To me it just doesn’t seem at all possible.

I look for Trump to take FL, NC, MO and maybe Ill. If he does that, its about all done.
The rest need to drop out and get in line.

Breitbart is so deep in the tank for Trump that posts from that site are largely irrelevant any more. Totally predictable.

He was competing adequately until he hired Neil Bush and sided with the far left agitators.

He self destructed.

It looks like Trump has b*tchslapped Rubio, and by extension, the party rank and file voters have been b*tchslapping the GOPe ruling cabal.

Who is left of the GOPe cabal to carry their banner? If they cannot see the writing on the wall, they are blind. If they choose to ignore the writ large results of the past few weeks, they are obstructionist.

the party elites must recognize that they are going to succumb to the popular will of the party legions or they are going to be replaced and displaced.

To Bush, Romney, McConnell, Ryan et al: accept what is and adapt or perish. It is time to look within yourselves and determine why you are being rejected.

Considering the only county he’s winning in Florida is Miami-Dade, he could run for mayor.

I agree. I would not have cared much if Cruz or Trump won in November, even though I’m sure Trump has a better chance, UNTIL I saw Cruz stipulate his defense of Trump in Chicago. There is NO ROOM for mitigating circumstances when savages are plotting against modern man.

If Trump is the nominee, I’ll vote for him - but I’m pretty sure he’ll let us down. He is “flexible” - which means he doesn’t act on principle. Whatever works at the moment. I think everyone who put so much faith in him is going to be very disappointed. I hope I’m wrong. Of course, he could lose to Clinton, in which case, get ready for the end of the U.S.A. for our lifetime.

Trump accomplishes things, which is what we need right now, not just a bunch of good-sounding rhetoric.

Worth repeating.

Wishful thinking on your part.

Do you feel the same way about NRO and their being in the tank for anybody but Trump?
