The Chicago police seemed well trained for a nonviolent response. When taking down and cuffing a man, they didn’t even reach for a billy club. I’m glad the police didn’t become part of the story as they did at the DNC convention in 1968.
Soros put out a cattle call for actors in a bit of community organizer street theater. That doesn’t qualify as newsworthy to me, other than as an example of contrived outrage. The police should arrest the violent; otherwise shouldn’t feed the artificial flames.
