Why get worked up over it? It’s been that way for years in some regions. Here it is still snowmobile - likely because they are mostly recreational. In Alaska those vehicles are necessary during certain months of the year, which may be why the vehicles came to be referred to as “snow machines”.
I am not getting worked up over it, I am just having a good time posting and drinking a bit of bourbon. Sometimes it’s fun to make a big deal out of nothing just like the Seinfeld show.
