I think Trump just won Ohio! Possibly - if I recall correctly, Ohio went for Obama over Romney - might not be the General, but Romney has a "history" of losing Ohio when it really counts.

I don’t think you can use the 2012 election as an indicator as to whether this is a good move or not for Kasich.

It’s hard to tell for certain, but as someone mentioned earlier, it may indicate that Kasich isn’t feeling very confident. If he had a strong lead, I don’t think he’d make a gamble with Mitt, especially considering he describes himself as anti-establishment
