“All told, 7 in 10 nonwhite voters said they had a “very” unfavorable view of the man who, before Saturday, had won 14 of the 22 Republican contests.”

BFD.

Ted Cruz HAS the charm of Barry Goldwater, the ethics of Richard Nixon, the backbone of Mitt Romney and GOPe connections of Jeb Bush.

I’ll vote for the Republican nominee whoever he is. Hillary must be destroyed.

But current polls are worrisome and tell a different story that show Trump losing to both, Hillary and Bernie.

I could be wrong but I think these protest will garner 1,000,000 new votes for Trump.

Tuesday will tell the story.

The NBC/Wall Street Journal polls are notorious for having awful numbers, and especially skewed against Trump.

So here's the question. Did you not know something that just about everyone else here knows? Or did you use the source thinking we are too stupid to remember that?

If the GOP doesn’t implode itself we can have a chance to survive this with Trump. We do this every time, tear each other apart and then whatever’s left is trashed by the time the general comes around.

Well you got to be careful by embracing only those polls showing Trump doing well versus those polls showing his support dwindling. We all saw how Trump’s 25%-30% higher pre-primary election polls were cut in half in the last round as late breakers went for Cruz.

Won’t be long now.

You’re really desperate. You’re posting a poll that is almost a week old or older, even though there are more frequent national polls with Trump way up and going higher.

SteelFish, you should take a break from the forum until your desperation and rage dissipate. I’ve been seeing a lot of these propaganda/dishonest articles from you lately.

Now, now, you know full well of what could be said of a con artist and a carnival barker who is all about himself.

You need to remove the blinders and keep an open mind. This “Dear Leader” thing you have for your guy will collapse sooner rather than later and all this Trumpoonery-Buffoonery will end. You appear to think that FR is a sole platform only for comments praising Dear Leader. Won’t happen.

It a sad state of affairs when insults is the level at which your elevator gets stuck.

You posted the word Trumpism as a synonym for insult in a request that there be no insults. Dude. You might want to see yourself in the mirror.

It's why I call you simpletons Cruzbergers.

I agree with Cruz’ recent statements.

The idea that Trump is a victim is some of the silliest stuff I’ve ever read here.

Both Trump and those “protestors” are getting exactly the media whore coverage they are seeking. I agree with Cruz that Trump is setting the tone. He’s being bombastic for effect and so, it’s silly to claim that the effect is an independent outcome.

The analogies I’ve seen is Gellar. She is also correct that she has first amendment rights. And. She’s also being outspoken to create an effect. In her case, the effect is to prove her point regarding dog whistles and radical Islam. The other analogy is rape and if Trump supporters want to compare him to a rape victim, go ahead. It’s crass and not accurate but knock yourself out.

Here’s my prediction: Cruz’ statements are going to connect with voters far more than most here suspect. Most here see CWII and say, “bring it on!”

But. Your average voter is a 76 yr old widowed female that lives not quite in the suburbs in a community not quite as safe as when her and her late husband bought it 45 yrs ago. That’s why there are bars on the window now. That voter knows that in CWII, her community is the ground zero between urban and suburban. She doesn’t relish conflict nearly as much as you do, here.

Trump has set a tone. You can deny that with as much shrill as you like, but that’s just so much pearl clutching.

When more than 80 percent of Freepers are supporting Trump now, do you really think it's wise to write all this bulls*** "you worship Trump!" hate on the forum? You need to learn some respect for FReepers and stop this crap.

“current polls are worrisome and tell a different story that show Trump losing to both, Hillary and Bernie”

So in March 1980 you supported John Anderson because the polls showed that the only Republican losing to Carter was Ronald Reagan?

You know, the guy who won 45 states that November?

Cruooz is lucky that Texas came early in the primaries or he’d be another 100 delegates behind.
