Pat, your Sunday morning vignettes are as much a part of the Sunday Morning thread as the postings of everyone else who participates .... it wouldn’t be the same without you. If someone doesn’t like them or thinks they are OT, all they have to do is skip down to the next post. Don’t you dare stop writing your vignettes! ~Q

I enjoy reading your stories
In our parish, we've had nothing but dud priests come thru for the past several years. At one time you had to get there 15 minutes early to get a seat. Now you could shoot a cannon thru the place and never hit anybody. Needless to say, we've gone from very financially solvent to deep in the red, but somehow they just don't get it. Now they want those of us left to dig deeper.
It seems public speaking is the least emphasized course they offer in the seminary.-- if it's offered at all.
