I did try to post the entire headline, but FR wouldn’t let me. So I had to cut off the end.

If you can think of a better way to get the information out and fix the accuracy of the headline, I suggest that you contact the mods and have them change it to something more appropriate.

Complaining to me does no good. I did my best to conform to the limitations of FR’s posting rules.

In any case, I was only commenting on the parenthetical part of the title.

His change was meely to the tense .. instead of “the attacker’s name IS ...” he wishes it were “the attacker’s name WAS.”

What I do when the title is too long is to post the thread with a truncated title, such as This title is way too long for FR's 100 character limit and is[tr]

Then in the first comment I post: "Title truncated, full title is 'This title is way too long for FR's 100 character limit and is a really long run-on sentence fragment in the original where they clearly own stock in a printer's ink company'.
