I thought I heard that Cruz was part of the mob that tried to rush Trump today. did I hear wrong? I guess we’ll find out when the Secret Service checks the IDs of the folks they arrested.

The Republicans and other establishment types most likely instigated the planned violence behind the scenes.

Because the GOP is complicit. The GOP is no more interested in freedom than is the Left in this country. The UniParty is the enemy.
The GOP is not responsible for the riots and protesters. If the protesters remain non-violent, then nothing will come f it, but when they try to take over the event and push and shove and scream - they and they alone are responsible for their actions.
Nor is Donald Trump responsible.
These protesters are adults who are acting like junior HS kids. They have not been properly educated about the duties of living in a democratic republic. I doubt they understand what a democratic republic is.
