Also, get a 10, 12, or 14 oz. can of bear spray. Shoots a stream about 25 feet. Buy one at Bass Shops, Cabella’s, Gander Mountain, Scheels, Big Five, REI, Adventue Outfitters, etc., or online.
A can of Lysol and a lighter makes an outstanding flame thrower, just in case you want to take it up a notch. The wasp spray is an excellent alternative.

Well, I have spent lots of time at UIC for sporting events..my kids considered attending UIC, etc. I really did not see it as that dangerous of a venue...As I said, I was truly in wrong place at wrong time. Also, these thugs were not student protesters. They were seething mad...full of hate towards us. As I said in another post, I have a hunch the Trump supporters in the car in front of me where the ambush began did something to set the crowd off...waving a sign, flipping the bird, etc. some people are so stupid....
Tho I was with a friend, there was a woman who arrived at rally late seated near us and was alone...Hope she got home safely.
LOL I have bear spray for camping...just didn’t have it in friends car...don’t think she had any pepper spray. I usually keep a multi tool in my car and small one on key chain along with pepper spray, but I divested of that stuff because in Iowa, we were warned that it would be confiscated by security.
Pretty sure absolutely no Firearms allowed in state facilities...Concealed Carry just passed to some limited extent in the City.
Frightening that after the rally was cancelled and chaos broke out on the floor, there was one fight where it looked like a thug was trying to take gun away from a police officer.
