Guess Rush did not see the information on exit polls from the South that Cruz did not win the evangelicals except in Texas and Oklahoma.
Evangelicals like me care very much about our church, family, and children. However, in that context we care about food, clothing and shelter for our family and neighbors. One has to have physical and economic security first. I grew up and live in a rural area. We farmed, grew much of our food, had a small house, cared for our relatives and each other and went to church together. Many of us still do.
We believe Trump will help provide us with the physical and economic needs to allow us to practice our religion and live a decent life.
I’ve been saying for a couple of days now, when voters start hearing about Cruz’s donors, they are going to have a rude awakening - and Cruz is going to be in the hot seat.
There is absolutely something to be said for having NO DONORS and not being obligated to them. We aren’t talking about that quite yet...!
