Cruz is accustomed to creating “facts” to suit his argument...morality and ethics be damned. He lies, sometimes I think it is pathologically.
I don’t think Trump will anything like Reed Smoot or Willis Hawley. His goal is not to reduce imports but to pressure our trading partners into better deals. That’s not protectionism, that’s just patriotism.
