So Ted Cruz just insulted a massive number of GOP Trump supporters. They'll remember that insult in the general election if Cruz wins the nomination.

"Now, all these low-information and disengaged American voters should look to the splendid example of Canadian voters, as models of engaged and informed voters", twanged Ted in his endearing, whiny Canadian way.

Ted Cruz is viewed as a far right, religious radical. Don’t know whether that is right or wrong, but most of what I read describes him this way. The majority of the voters will NOT vote for Ted in the general election. The cross over voters for Trump will retreat back to their roots and the elites like Levine will have accomplished their goal. They are no more American that Ted Cruz himself. They support Hillary over Trump and Cruz accomplishes the goal (maybe). Cruz is exactly like Obama, only from the opposite direction. Half the country will hate him. He has no compromise or common sense which is what we need at this time in history.

Hey Ted, go “F” yourself. I think the GOPe has a firm grip on Ted now with statements like that.

Ridiculous to put all Republicans in one bucket, Ted Bush.

Ted Cruz is a liar. Cruz himself is dependent on the lowest-IQ ten percent of the population for his votes.

I guess we have to put Cruz in the Establishment Camp. He used to be a big time Bush guy and he is in bed with Goldman Sachs and the Trial Lawyers. He is a Fraud and his true roots are coming home.

Low information?
They are Trump supporters and voters over Cruz supporters because of the information that we have.
So, I guess my vote now goes Trump or nobody at this point.

What a moron! Donald Trump's voters are the exact opposite of everything that he has said. Not only are we exceptionally "high information" voters, we are extremely engaged voters!
The only thing Cruz got right is the fact that Donald Trump's supporters ARE ANGRY; WE ARE ANGRY WITH THE GOPe AND GUYS LIKE HIM WHO REFUSE TO FACE REALITY: HE REPRESENTS THE PROBLEM, NOT THE SOLUTION AND HIS STATEMENT PROVES WHO HE SIDES WITH: THE GOP ESTABLISHMENT, NOT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE! (YES I, ALONG WITH MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE YELLING; WE ARE FED UP WITH THE WHOLE ROTTEN DEMOCRAT AND GOP WASHINGTON ELITE ESTABLISHMENT! WE ARE "MAD AS BLAZES AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT, OR THEM ANYMORE!" It is too bad Ted Cruz and the GOPe vehemently refuse to hear us, but THEY WILL HEAR US AT THE BALLOT BOX AND THEY WILL HEAR US WHEN Donald Trump becomes the next President of the United States and they all suddenly wake up to the reality that their utterly corrupt power, position and gravy train existence is at an end.
I am an evangelical Christian and all of the above is the reason why I voted for and support Donald Trump over Ted Cruz.

If the establishment ends up stealing the nomination from Trump and giving it to the Canadian liar you can rest assure this Trump supporter will be writing in Trump. I would vote for this fake and fraud illegal immigrant Cruz for all the money in Canada.

The title is not accurate.
Cruz said, “Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice.”
He *didn’t* say that all of Trump’s supporters have “relatively low information.”

I'm late to this hullabaloo, but it sure enough seems to me that candidate Cruz has managed to inelegantly insult the millions of Trump supporters and would be Trump supporters with his arrogant and wrong-headed diagnosis!
"Not that engaged." LOL. Look at the attendance at Trump's Rallies! That's engagement!!!
"Relatively low information." LOL. Self-funding, successful businessman vs one term US Senator funded by PACS, lobbyists, #neverTrump and that's just for starter's.

Because insulting the American people is bound to get them to vote for you.
Right.
