A warmer climate is in fact a healthier climate, Mr. Hansen.

Warm periods in the Earth's history (Holocene Climate Optimum, Roman Climate Optimum, Medieval Climate Optimum, etc.) aren't so labeled for no reason at all.

But I guess that would be belaboring the obvious for a "rocket scientist" such as yourself, eh, Mr. Hansen?

Charlatans like Hansen will say anything to protect their global warming-fueled gravy train. It is easy to see that as their primary motivation by noting that there is apparently no level of absurdity to which they will not sink in their flailing attempts to preserve their scam. Were they simply dispassionate scientists, as they claim, they would not be resorting to ridiculous extremes of politics and propaganda. Were they scientists, they might be embarrassed to spout the type of nonsense that routinely flows from the likes of Hansen, et al.

Yet Hansen has no shame because he is not pursuing science at all but rather a "whatever it takes" defense of his own selfish interests. In response, we should borrow a page from the left's playbook and begin referring to the climate scam as "Big Climate", and those like Hansen as tools of Big Climate. That would put a PR focus on what many already know, which is that there is a huge entrenched industry now that depends for their livelihoods on "climate change" being real and human-caused. That is the very definition of a conflict of interest, and any person with two brain cells should realize that no objective science can result from it.

To liberals, the Constitution guarantees individual rights unless those in the 'elite priesthood' identify an issue which supersedes any claim to those individual rights. Unfortunately, there is no end to these more pressing issues. The environment, economic justice, animal rights, racial inequality, women's rights, the gay agenda...it goes on and on. And only they get to decide what issues apply.
