A man was left bloody and wounded after he attempted to rob a woman with a knife.
The Kentucky woman was being stalked by John Ganobick, when he followed her into an elevator at a parking garage.
Police said Ganobick was captured on surveillance cameras following her.
But there is no surveillance camera rolling when he eventually attacks her in the parking lot.
Louisville Metro Police said the woman noticed Ganobick following her in the food court around 6.15pm and he followed her to the parking garage.
She told police when the elevator reached her floor, she started running to her car, but he chased her.
The woman got in her car and he pushed in behind her and put his hand over her mouth, according to ABC 7.

The lesson a wiberal would learn here is that gun laws work. Otherwise he would have had a gun and not a knife.
A happy ending to the story, yes, but could have been even more happy.
No beard in surveillance video but lots of facial hair in mug shot, with some kind of medical looking device on his neck.
Seems strange.
Should learn two to the heart and one to the head.

A head shot would have been nice, but she did well considering the circumstances. She will get to face him in court and watch him get sentenced to a good twenty of which he will likely have to serve at least 12.

Bringing a knife to a gunfight is a losing proposition.
The attitude towards guns in Kentucky is likely different than some other states, we like them.
She fought him in her car, shot him at point blank range, and you’re complaining that she missed his head?
And someone has a problem with that how?

My guess would be that he wasn’t formally arrested for several days while he was hospitalized.
He needed a medical device around his neck—that’s where she shot him.
now that is my idea of gun control
Could anyone really do better? She was head slammed, engaged in violent struggle at knife-point, scared to death.

At that close range she probably started firing from whatever position she was in. I’m gonna go with.....she should’ve kept firing, emptied the gun in him.
Hubby always taught me if there is reason to fire, fire til it’s empty.

He was probably in the hospital for a while to recover from his neck wound before his court appearance. Also, photos may not be from his first court appearance.
In a perfect liberal utopia, neither would have had access to guns. In which case, nothing changes for the perp... but the victim is dead.
Reminds me that both Treyvon Martin and Michael Brown died because they attacked men with guns.
